Supporting civil society human rights work
Independent media, academia, civil society, and a healthy political system are all necessary components in achieving real reform and in avoiding abuse of power. In a number of OSCE countries, the government is increasingly repressing critical voices. Both through participation in international networks and by means of its own project work in 2011-2015, NHC has worked to defend and protect organisations and individuals that fall victim to this repression.
NHC's Publications provide an analysis of international developments in the field of human rights protection and rule of law in Europe.
