Ton van den Brandt

Ton van den Brandt is currently the Head of the Department of Communications and Public Information at the District Court of Law in Amsterdam. Previously, he has held senior positions at Amnesty International Netherlands, and, ad interim, with the Netherlands Red Cross and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is a published journalist and author. Van den Brandt is also Chairman of the Nederlands Juristen Comité voor de Mensenrechten. He has a degree in Dutch Law and a degree in Public International Law (cum laude) from the University of Amsterdam. He has also completed postgraduate studies in Journalism.
