Senior Expert

Henk Bruning (Amsterdam, 1955) works as a coach. He is an expert of processes related to the modernisation and humanisation of public and private organisations. He worked as a Human Resources director at the municipality of Amsterdam for 12 years. His expertise lies in Human Resource Management, Good Governance / Corporate Social Responsibility & Integrity.

Henk is passionate about his work. According to him, human values like honesty, openness, justice, equality and being considerate of other people, are universal. In the programmes he has executed in various countries, he trains people in applying these values. In addition, he learns them how to create an organisational structure and culture that protects people from corruption, the abuse of power and the violation of human rights. The trainings Henk provides are practical and result-oriented.

Henk also published several books among which ‘To Be Honest. Finding Inspiration and Integrity in Public Service and Business’ (2014/2017).
