Barbora joined the NHC in September 2009. She studied Dutch Language and Culture (MA) at the Faculty of Philosophy of Comenius University in Bratislava and at the University of Utrecht.

After working as a project manager for an international event organiser, she worked for the Institute for International Research where she coordinated conferences and developed training programmes.
