EDU PLAYGROUND
EDU PLAYGROUND is a civil society organization dedicated to empowering individuals and local communities through education, training, and the promotion of human rights and democratic values. The organization works to ensure access to social rights, foster active citizenship, and combat discrimination and exclusion, particularly for youth and marginalized communities. EDU PLAYGROUND aims to build a more inclusive, and rights-based society by creating equal opportunities for learning and participation through modern and innovative educational tools.
About the Project
Voices of the Law: Empowering Women in Small Communities
The project aimed to address the marginalization of women in rural EU areas by strengthening their legal awareness, promoting gender equality, and improving their participation in local decision-making and access to justice. EDU Playground presented a report about the specific legal needs of women in the Plovdiv region which were identified through focus groups with women and legal professionals, carried out a workshop, self-preparation resources, and an informative website.
