Monitoring and Early Warning
The Monitoring Action for Civic Space (MACS) project has created a monitoring tool to capture both progress and decline in civic freedoms in the EU, and provide actionable policy recommendations for decision-makers. 9 European organisations, including the NHC and ECNL, created this tool to draw the attention of EU institutions, states and civil society to civic space issues that matter.
