Named after reformer Miko Tripalo, it promotes democracy, the rule of law, and Europeanisation in Croatia. Through research, advocacy, and public dialogue, the Centre encourages citizen participation and helps build a fair, accountable, and democratic society grounded in human rights.
About the Project
Empowering Future Generations to Fight Against Corruption
This project aimed to promote anti-corruption awareness among young people by equipping them with the tools to recognise it. Miko Tripalo Center sought to collaborate with civil society organisations working with youth to strengthen their capacities and make anti-corruption efforts more systematic. The project included research on young people’s attitudes and understanding of corruption, gathering over 500 survey responses. A roundtable with more than 70 participants discussed the findings and recommendations, which were later published in a policy report distributed to youth organisations, policymakers, and educational institutions. Finally, a campaign titled Recognise Corruption increased public awareness and supported youth organisations in their anti-corruption initiatives.
