Place and Voice – Agency and Combat Against Invisibilities and Exclusion

P&D Factor’s project aimed to address the growing challenges in Portugal where social and political shifts have weakened attention to women’s rights, equality, health, and participation. Many civil society organisations depend on government funding, limiting their ability to act on their own missions and reducing focus on intersectional rights. The project identified key gaps and unheard voices in areas such as sexual and reproductive health, gender equality, and discrimination, aiming to strengthen awareness and civic action. P&D Factor produced a detailed report and launched a six-week Instagram campaign featuring public figures, data highlights, and quotes from CSOs. The report results and the campaign reached wide audiences and gained media coverage, drawing attention to neglected issues and unfulfilled rights.
