About the Project
Monitoring Women’s Rights in the Public Health System: MO-ŽE-PRAVA!
The project’s goal was to address the need for greater accountability and transparency in public health institutions responsible for sexual and reproductive health in Croatia, where political influence and shrinking space for women’s rights create serious concerns. PaRiter offered a solution by improving monitoring and strengthening civil society engagement. The team developed a research and monitoring tool with partner organisations, collected baseline data for 2022–2023 and even integrated the methodology into a university course. They analysed preliminary findings and met decision makers, health professionals and media representatives to start dialogue on gaps in women’s reproductive healthcare.
