Vita Activa’s project targets the problem of widespread sexism despite progress in gender equality and stronger support for women’s and sexual minority rights. Social media and digital platforms only amplify the problem. Public figures, influencers and anonymous creators spread sexist messages, often aimed at young people. The project aims to strengthen the organisation’s communication capacity and raise public awareness through a digital campaign. The campaign analyses sexist content and promotes cooperation with media and influencers. Activities include regular educational and practical posts, articles, analysis of public sexist statements and adverts, and workshops for young people. Vita Activa will also produce online informational materials and a practical guide to help people identify sexism and reject discriminatory content.
