Zelena Akcija is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit and voluntary association of citizens for environmental protection. It aims to contribute to the improvement of the environmental protection system at the local, national and global level by encouraging change through campaigns, non-violent direct actions, projects, and public participation in decision-making. The goal of our activities is to protect the environment and nature and encourage development towards a low-carbon society, guided by the principles of social justice and systemic change. Zelena Akcija pays the greatest attention to activities aimed at encouraging public participation in environmental decision-making and improving the quality of life in Croatia. We also share information, experience and expertise in the field of environmental protection with other associations, communities, and schools.
