Democracy Drinks: Second Edition

Dear Democracy Defenders, Friends and Colleagues,

After the success of our inaugural Democracy Drinks in September, the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy and the Netherlands Helsinki Committee are delighted to announce a second edition of the monthly networking event, which brings together fellow thinkers, advocates, and democracy enthusiasts.

Opening remarks will be made by guest speaker Lousewies van der Laan, the veteran Dutch politician and Executive Director at Transparency International Nederland, who will be sharing her thoughts on how democracy can help promote transparency, accountability and integrity across society.

No need to register this time – just turn up and enjoy an evening of conversation, inspiration, and collaboration!

The Hague Democracy Drinks will take place on Friday 8 October from 16:00 – 18:00 at the Nutshuis Juni Café (Riviervismarkt 5).

Please note all drinks are at own expense.

Precautions will be taken in line with RIVM’s latest COVID-19 guidelines. Participants will be required to show their digital Corona certificate upon entry.
